He loved order in his life: Albert went to sleep at the same time every night and woke up at the same time every morning. He was neither late nor early, just perfectly on time. It might be why he sought a career as an electrical engineer. He was a graduate of Drexel University and worked for many years for Philco-Ford.rnrn Albert lived many an adventure: he was raised in South Philly and served in WWII as a Navigator on a B-17G. As a father he’d pile his kids into Ford station wagon and truck them about the country.rnrn He spent his retirement years honing his computer skills, reading about history, physics and the sea and tending to his garden (grow dammit). He was loyal to the Phillies through the good and the bad and was active at St. Pete’s: as treasurer of the Holy Name Society he paid for the doughnuts from L&M and counted all of the money from the ticket sales.rnrn A young Albert met a Scottish girl and treated her to a lobster dinner on their first date. He and the late Catherine Boyle wed in 1956. Their union was blessed by 4 children: Joe, Kathleen Cofrancesco, Fran and Margaret. His 8 grandchildren rejuvenated his life and drew most of his attention in his later years.rnrn Come celebrate 88 great years Saturday 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. at Jesus the Good Shepherd Church (St. Peter’s Site), Riverside. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations to Masonic Hospice Services, 902 Jacksonville Road Burlington, NJ 08016 will be appreciated. –
