Everyone knew her top priority: for Betty, family came first. Her younger years found her entertaining with many a barbecue at her home. And she was a fan of travel, her favorite destination was Italy. Betty was the master of the comfort meal: Pot Roast and Stew. And she stayed active with her hands, crocheting and doing needle work. Her blankets were a thing of beauty. But her greatest times were with her grandkids, overjoyed when they came to visit..
She’d meet a guy on a blind date in Philadelphia: she and the late William married a month later. They were blessed with 5 children; Betty Stevenson, Doreen (Denny) Brown, Terry (Richard) Corte, the late William H Stinger Jr and the late Connie Stinger, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
