Bridget Sweeny

Bridget Sweeny

She lived her life never going to bed angry. Even as a kid after an argument with her mother, Bridget would leave little notes about being sorry that mom would find later that night. As a daughter she required all her mother’s attention at least until her sister, Jenny was born. From then on out she was a daddy’s girl. And she carried on the lesson learned into her adult life: she doted attention onto her sons, Dylan and Michael Jr. Everyone knew they were her world. When she got away she’d usually be heading for the Wildwood boardwalk or packing up her kids for a trip to Otter Lake Campground. And her younger years found her roller skating, playing basketball, cheerleading and active in the Brownies. She was a natural beauty; never any need for makeup. Of course, she grew up with 4 sisters and one bathroom so there wouldn’t have been any time for it anyway.
Bridget is survived by her children; Dylan Stayton and Michael Sweeny Jr, her mother; Mary Pat (James) Manley, father; Mark (Beverly) Missimer, sisters; Amy (David) Arnold, Heather (Paul) Washington, Jennifer (the late Jason) Wark, and Taylor Missimer, step brothers; Ryan (Laura) Manley, Chris (Cecilia) Manley, Eric (Amanda) Manley, her mother and father in law; Carol (Ben) Lewis, and 9 nieces and nephews.
