Carol Brinkman

Carol Brinkman

For Carol the secret to being happy was easy: she put everyone else’s needs (especially her family‘s) ahead of her own. On Sundays and Holidays Carol made the meals and gathered her family around her table. She was creative in the kitchen and added a little of this and that to recipes to make them her own. Christmas was her time of year. Dinner was of course at her house with decorations both inside and out. She was always active in things with her children but even more so with the grandkids. She had more free time and would pick them up after school for shopping expeditions. At home they’d do puzzles and play cards. She was always outspoken and saw the funny side of things.rnrnCarol met John at a very young age. He left to serve in the Air Force during the Korean War and they stayed in touch by writing letters. When he returned home they married. The family they made became Carol’s life. In addition to her husband of 56 years, John she is survived by 3 daughters: Susan Jackson, Lisa Diamond, and Karen Sharp and 5 grandchildren.rnCome celebrate 76 giving years Thursday January 10 from 11a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro with Storytime at Noon. rnDonations to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, 355 Lexington Ave., NY, NY 10017 will be appreciated.rnrn rn –
