She had creativity to spare. If Carole was younger, she’d have won ‘Project Runway‘: given bolt of cloth, she would perform magic.rnCarole was a Woodbury girl transplanted to Woodstown. She graduated from Woodbury High and went on to Drexel University where she studied Textile Engineering. Wanting to stay close to home, Carole settled into teaching Home Economics at Paulsboro High. Students benefited from her creativity and learned ways to care for their future homes. While at Drexel Carole, a member of the Varsity Singers, toured Europe. They performed for nobility in several nations and she kissed the Blarney Stone. rnCrohn’s Disease put a stop to roller skating and riding roller coasters, but Carole fought the illness and became a medical pioneer living many years beyond Doctor’s predictions- it was sheer determination on her part.rnShe is survived by son, George and his wife Janet and their four children.rnDress casually and come celebrate 73 creative years Thursday from 10:30 AM at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro where Storytime will begin at 11AM.
