Christine Widzins

Christine Widzins

Christine was happy, pleasant, simple, easy-going in her ways and always in a good mood. She lived to lend a helping hand and she had a soft spot for animals: a stray dog could do no better than to happen upon Christine. She transported dogs for many years and rescued more than her fair share. If her TV was on she’d be checking out Ellen, HGTV, Pitbulls and Parolees or Grey’s Anatomy and she loved a little country and alot of Blake Shelton. If she got out of the area she’d head off to the warmer climates; anywhere with sand, though while she loved the beach, the water maybe not so much. And in her earlier years she rolled a few strikes on some bowling teams at Thunderbird and Maple lanes with her mom.

Christine met a handsome guy in high school named Chris. They met at 15 through mutual friends and spent 20 years together. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca; a step-daughter, Christin Thompson; siblings, Michele (JR),Thomas (Karen) and Louis Lee; her mother, Joan; stepfather, Lou; father in law, Joseph; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services celebrating 50 great years will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers be like Chirstine and donate generously to www.tprescue.org
