He is survived by wife Betty (Reynolds) Carty, children Joseph Carty of Mt. Laurel, Thomas Carty and wife Sandy, of Voorhees, (Michael Carty Pre deceased) and Denise Richards of Marlton. Step children Mary Anne Altschul of Pine Hills, Susan Wieler of South Amboy, and Barbara North of Oaklyn. 12 grand children and 13 great grand children.

He was a retired employee of Hogaenas Corporation in Riverton, NJ.

He was a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus #4934 of Sacred Heart Church in New Smyma Beach, Florida and a fourth degree Knight. He was a 24 year member of Tops F1511 of Edgewater Fl. Served in US Army and disabled veteran of the Korean War.

Come celebrate 91 great years, Friday 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, St Casimir Church, Riverside. Interment private. Donations in lieu of flowers to American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org) will be appreciated.
