Joanne Mastrullo

Joanne Mastrullo

Joanne was born in Philadelphia and moved to South Jersey in her 20’s. She spent 25 years as an administrator at Jewish Geriatric Home in Cherry Hill. But she found her real calling late in life; that of grandmother. Just watching them run around brought a smile to her face. She loved NCIS, Opera and no one made a better crab and spaghetti. Her later years found her in Delanco living at the Zurbrugg Mansion, enjoying Bingo and the occasional card game. She was a long time member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish and was a Eucharistic Minister.

She is survived by her daughters, Gina Hunter (Lawrence Wolfe) and Renee Varley; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Hunter, James Varley Jr., Miranda Hunter (Mark Hawkes) and Dominick DeSante (Karissa Ervens; great grandchildren, Dakota Hawkes and Aliana DeSante; her twin sister, Janet Daddi (Fred) and sister, Annell Ianelli (Peter).

Come celebrate 83 great years Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Beverly. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10:30 a.m. at Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish, St Joseph’s Church, Beverly. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon PA.
