Monica Marlene Lieljuris

Monica was a joyous, happy soul who touched everyone’s heart.  She inspired Love in every person she met throughout her life.  Born in Germany as a “military brat”, when she came to the states she received her citizenship at 3 years of age.  Monica attended various programs throughout her life and while attending Life Skills Center in Burlington, NJ, she participated in the Special Olympics, winning the Gold medal for the 100 meter dash….while never letting go of her purse!  Monica loved and enjoyed her family. She enjoyed her Bugs Bunny, purse, jewelry, flowers, quarters, beads and car rides.  She also really enjoyed grocery shopping with her mom.  Monica was very dearly loved by her family and is survived by Retired SGM Zigurds and Gertraud Lieljuris, siblings Syndia Inta, Zigurds Karl and Harold Ilmars Lieljuris.
