Suzann Stillwaggon

Suzann Stillwaggon

The red helping hand poster in her front window told you everything you need to know about Suzie; she saw her primary mission in life as helping kids in distress. She was the neighborhood mom. Her house was a refuge and great place to eat: great Italian food, the world’s best potato salad, and breakfast for anyone who showed up hungry. And it was the house her grandkids loved the most. They baked cookies, crafted and jumped on the trampoline. She never missed one of their games. In her spare time she knitted, crocheted, and read a little Danielle Steele. In her younger years she did some camping and travelled to Busch Gardens, New York and Lancaster.
One day she had a flat tire at work. A handsome guy named Wes fixed the tire and invited her on a date to New Hope. She was a lifelong Phillies fan, he a fan of the Mets, but somehow they shared a 50 year marriage blessed by 3 children, Jen (Mike), Amy (Matt), and Chuck (Sue). She is survived by her step-children, Susan, Bob, and Wes; grandchildren, Aaron, Jessica, Matt Jr., Colin, Nicholas, Anthony, Alissa, Hailey and many other grand and great-grandchildren; her siblings, Carol (Ken) Cain, and Steve (Judy) Perriello and 4 nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Greg Perriello.
Come celebrate 72 great years Sunday March 7, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where there will be a 1 p.m. service.
