Deborah Lee Rua

Deborah Lee Rua

rnDebi’s spirit was as free as her heart was big. She loved arts and crafts and creating things with her hands especially crotheting and sewing. She studied painting at Syracuse and had flair for still life. She loved movies: perhaps it was her love of horseback riding that made “The Cowboy Way” her favorite. Even at her most difficult times her family and friends relied on her wit and sense of humor. rnShe was raised in Beverly and Moorestown and most recently lived in Riverside.rnShe is survived by her daughter, Lena Marie Rua, her parents: Samuel and Patricia Rua; her brother, Samuel and his wife, Heather; sisters, Barbara McGarrigle and her husband, John and Marcianne Cooper and her husband, Joe; 10 nieces and nephews and 9 great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Dean Kemp who cared for her until the end.rnCome celebrate 50 great years Friday from 8:30 to 10:30 at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery.
