Doris Marmino

Doris Marmino

Doris knew how to stay young. She always stayed focused on the good things in life. Even her love of music was a reflection on her youthful nature. If she liked a song on the radio she’d run right to her piano to play it. Her tastes were always more consistent with the Rolling Stones than with Lawrence Welk. Some say she was strong willed and tough, others say she was stubborn, but she’d always take your advice as long as it was what she already thought. She loved to cook and bake and was known for her meatballs and chocolate cake. She often reworked her schedule to watch tennis.rnrnShe is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Landis and her husband, John (affectionately known as Big Beer) and Joann (John Carson) Marmino; and her brother, Loyd Wurst.rnrnFamily celebrated 87 great years privately.
