Dorothy was the life of every holiday gathering, a true hostess at heart who loved nothing more than bringing together family and friends to share in joyful celebration. Her main courses at holiday feasts were legendary. Her delicious creations, like turkey, stuffing and her potatoes with turnips or ham and her famous homemade potato salad brought everyone with to the table and filled their hearts with warmth and love.

In her younger years, Dorothy worked for Zurbrugg Hospital in the housekeeping department. On Weekends, Dororthy and her late husband would head to Atlantic City to reward themselves at the casinos.
