James Briggs

James Briggs

If he had the time and money Jim escaped to San Antonio, TX. He was drawn to the culture and colorful fiestas. He’d listened to Christian music as long as Elvis was singing. Jim always had a generous nature: at one time he was an accountant/manager at the Dutch Inn and at Christmas time he treated his entire family to a dinner there. In later years he’d take them all to the Telford Inn. Nieces and nephews found him a bit stubborn and fun to pick on but he always gave back as good as was given. At his home there was always a dog as a companion and a cat to companion the dog. rnHe is survived by two sisters: Carroll (Rick) Anderson and Judy (Lewis) Coles , a brother, Charles (Debbie). He was pre-deceased by a brother, Jackson V.rnCome celebrate 58 unique years Thursday, April 26, at St. Paul’s UM Church, 7 Church Street, Bridgeport where a Memorial Service will be held at 7PM. rnLeave a story of Jim at lifecelebrationstudio.com.rn –
