Jean V Clendining

Jean V Clendining

She never had to raise her voice: her “mom” look was all it ever took. Jean loved and raised her daughters as a single parent. She lived her entire life on her farm and didn’t like leaving it: she could go away for a day or two but by the third her bag was packed to head home. She was known as Gramma Jean at the Collingswood Farmers Market. Interacting with customers and working side by side with her nephews made for an enjoyable day. Her last job was as a bookkeeper with Otto C. Rode. Jean worked in the office all week and on weekends ran Barbecues. She enjoyed being busy, helping others was her style. If the TV was on it could only be the Phillies, Eagles or the Barefoot Contessa. She was quiet easy going and enjoyed a game of pinochle with the ladies. rnShe was blessed by 3 daughters: Joan C. Snodgrass, Suzanne Caltabiano, and Kay Shrader; a brother, Leslie ‘Peck” Viereck; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Jean was pre deceased by a grand daughter, Rebecca Cancila. rnCome celebrate 86 helpful years Monday 9 to 11AM at Daley life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro where the service will begin at 11AM. Burial Lake Park Cemetery. rnDonations to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 150 9th Ave., Runnemede 08078 will be appreciated.rnrn –
