John F Taylor Jr

The frame on his license plate said it all – He who dies with the most toys wins. According to Jack life was to be lived and that’s what he did, as large as possible. He thought the trick to being a good salesman was honesty. He relied on giving sound advise instead of overselling. His career started at Scheie Eye Institute and later he had an office in Swedesboro and finished his career with Charles Bell Co.rnWhen Halloween decorations came down, Christmas ones went up. His stocking gifts remained wrapped long after the holiday to keep the season alive. He always bought the perfect gift. rnNeighbors wore “Jack’s Diner” T-shirts as an homage to his cooking. Everyone knew to stop in hungry on Sunday mornings.rnJack took all of his endeavors to the hilt. When his son took up BMX racing Jack spent countless hours prepping the track at the 4H grounds. rnAt 4:28pm Sundays his boat left the dock to arrive at Seacrets precisely at 5pm for the start of the Power Play Band. He’d chime in with his cowbell. rnJack and his wife, Jackie won many a dance contest together. His dancing is what won her over since she wasn’t initially impressed with the 7th grade Casanova. Their union was blessed with one BMX racer, TJ (Leslie). Jack was “Pop Pop” to grandson, Jaden and is survived by a sister, Jill McKinney and brothers, Jon and Jaymie Smolens. He was “Uncle Turkey” to many nieces and nephews.rnCome celebrate 64 fun loving years Saturday from noon with story time at 1pm at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro.rnDonations to the American Red Cross (American.redcross.org) will be appreciated. rnLeave a story of Jack at lifecelebrationstudio.comrn –
