John Trainor

John Trainor

John knew that if people concentrated on the really important things in life there’d be a shortage of fishing poles and golf clubs. He loved to fish off the coast of Point Pleasant, but was happy to cast a line anywhere there was water. When it came to golf John was good enough to be asked to play in the Canadian Amateur League. But this was never an excuse to avoid work. While working for NWL Transformers, his dedication showed through his multiple patents and his clients who refused to work with any other representative. When it came to the grandkids they always brought out his youthful side. He introduced them to fishing, but they reintroduced him to the world of make-believe, and gave him a good excuse to still own paintball and BB guns. rn John is survived by his wife Mary Ann (nee Luska) of Willingboro, his son, Mike (Teresa) of Edgewater Park and his grandchildren: Brandon, Alexis and Jayson. He is the brother of Cindy Maher (Dennis), Mark Trainor and Kris Trainor (Chris), the brother-in-law of Ursula Luska (Gerry), Debbie Goldman (Richard), Cindy Blizzard (Al) and the late Connie DeLisio and is survived by many nieces and nephews. rn Come celebrate John’s 60 wonderful years Monday from 2 PM at the Sweeney Funeral Home 337 Bridgeboro St. Riverside, NJ 08075 where the service will follow at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Mary Ann Trainor via the funeral home’s address.rn –
