Nancy Buker

Nancy loved to have fun. She camped everywhere from Connecticut to Key West and loved cruises, making lifelong friends all along the way. She caught many a flounder on the Nan-Sea B and she chased down every Bingo game from Sts. Pete’s and Casimir to the Foxwoods.rnrnHer generosity knew no bounds: she loved giving way more than receiving and was never happier than when she would bring her family together with her cookouts, although she tire herself out getting them ready. ‘Get Em’ she’d holler as she cheered the Phils and Eagles. She also liked to keep abreast of her stories, ‘One Life to Live’, and ‘All My Children.’rnrn rnNancy was a Christmas nut with a tree in every room. Later years found her doing everything with her grandkids from Disney trips to tubing.rnrnShe was approached on the dance floor by a young man named Bob. From early in their relationship when they would skip class to go to American Bandstand to later years when they mixed it up with Ballroom and Country, they were inseparable. Their 49-year marriage was blessed by two children, Robert Jr. and Joanne Pippitt; four grandchildren, Holly Pippitt, Tim Buker, Laurie Pippitt and Sandi Pierson; and great-granddaughter, Casey Pierson.rnrnCome celebrate 73 fun-loving years, 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Monday at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Her service will be at 9 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Church, Riverside. Interment will be in Oddfellows Cemetery, Burlington.rnrn – See more at: https://sweeneyfamilyroom.com/nancy-buker/#sthash.0HeZdJX7.dpuf
