Robert “Uncle Bob” Freund

In most situations he was quick to give things a thumbs up with an enthusiastic “right on!” Wherever “Uncle Bob” went he would go out of his way to meet people. Within a couple of minutes he’d consider them friends. From his youth he loved the music of the 60’s and was never happier then when he had a stack of ‘45s ready to go on his record player. One band, however, trumped all others: The Beatles. Always a flirt, he’d kiss the girls hands and send a wink their way. He liked wrestling so much that he’d often take on the persona of the current belt holders like Bruno Sammartino and Hulk Hogan. His love of the Lord was steadfast and he loved attending church. Uncle Bob was a resident of The Clare Estate for two years and will be greatly missed by his extended family there.

He was the son of Rose and the late James and is survived by his sisters, Carol Hardin of Hainesport and Nancy Phillips (Bob) of Rancocas Woods; he is the uncle of Mitchell Hardin, Bobby Phillips and Jayme Phillips.
