Robert Gotti

Robert Gotti

Bob loved the Lord, and was very vocal in sharing his faith with the people around him, whether in elevators, store lines, or in prisons. Though he couldn’t carry a tune , it never stopped him from “making a joyful noise unto the Lord!” If you were within reach, he’d be wrapping his arms around you; his bear hugs were legendary. Bob and his son Jason created a website, www.poeticpulpit.com, where Bob penned almost 1500 poems in which he shared his love for his Savior and Lord. Through his battle with cancer, Bob missed very few days at Columbia Lighting in Bristol, where he was employed as a Product Designer.

Bob met his wife, Arlene, 32 years ago, and knew in his heart that she would be his wife. Their first date was a Phillies game on a cold evening in April. No one is sure if they won or lost. Perhaps it was the thrill of new love! They were blessed with two sons, Joseph and Jason. He is survived by two other children, Robert Wellmann and Florence Bounds, six grandchildren; his mother, Nancy,
sister Barbara, twin brother, William and brother, Thomas.

Bob’s homegoing celebration will be held at the First Baptist Church, 216 Sunset Road, Willingboro, NJ 08046 on Friday, May 2. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the service.
Interment at Monument Cemetery, Beverly, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Willingboro
