Ronald E Goff

Ronald E Goff

Being one of 12 children Ron learned to appreciate quiet times. He worked his whole life for the same company. He was transferred to different cities and saw many name changes, but he retired from VWR Scientific in Logan Twp after starting in high school in a warehouse in Buffalo. If Ron lived in an area he’d forever be a fan of their teams: he cheered for the Bills, Steelers, Eagles and Phils. He loved professional wrestling and his wife’s baked goods. He served his nation in the army during the Korean Conflict. Later years found him traveling, mostly to see his kids and grandkids, but also enjoying several cruises.rnRon would meet a girl named Aeolah Rieffanaugh at an office Christmas party. Their 55 year marriage would be blessed by 4 children: Audrey (Jack) Walters, Randall, Arlene and Karen (Philip) Mason; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Kenneth and James and sisters: Marge Thompson, Joyce Haines, Joan Pascoe, Nona Heckman and Nina Sullivan.rnCome celebrate 81 great years Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore NY. Interment White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst NY.
