Sean Tomic

Sean Tomic

He marched to the beat of a different drum. Or perhaps it was a guitar; Sean played for many years. Recently it was just to entertain himself and those closest to him, but earlier years found him playing in a band. He was a horror film aficionado and lived for Halloween. Sean’s home was full of masks from horror flicks and filled to the top with Halloween decorations. He had seen much of the world travelling as far away as Australia: he probably had a book in him. If he wrote it, one thing would have been for sure: it wouldn’t have any spelling errors. And he was a lover of animals, always having a pet or two. These days it was his 2 dogs and his killer parakeet. He was a driver for Amazon Flex and previously worked for Lowes in installs.
He is survived by his children: December, Lachan and Violet; his siblings, Tommy, Jessie, Randy, Bruce, Dale, Carlin and Kennedy; his mother, Kelly Beck and stepfather, Kyle Beck and his grandmother, Dorothy Santoleri.
Come celebrate 43 great years Saturday 10-11 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where there will be an 11 a.m. service.

Sean, you are one of my oldest friends. It seems so long ago but I will never forget those times. Horror movies, Music, Shawn’s house with the guys, the damn cold and snow, the time I let you tattoo my arm…..childhood memories are the best and I am so glad I could call you my friend. Rest Easy Buddy I will miss you.

I met Sean in 2011 and his kindness grew with every passing day! He adored his family and I will always remember the times we watched Friday the 13th. He took the fear out of horror films for me. I will always keep Sean close to my heart and I pray he is resting peacefully. I know he is watching over Violet and his children.
