Suzanne Denise Reynolds

Suzanne Denise Reynolds

Suzanne grew up in Edgewater Park, NJ and lived the last 30 years in New York, NY. She spent much treasured time in Mount Gretna, PA and Great Barrington, MA, but was truly a world citizen.

While we mourn the mortal passing of Suzanne, who was born Nov. 9, 1963 and passed away Friday, July 5, 2013, we will have peace knowing she has been released from the pain that held her body in it’s grip during her brave struggle with cancer. Her soul is now free to continue the journey that she traveled on earth.

Suzanne touched, and forever changed, so many lives in her 49 years here, with her compassion for all, her humor, her love of beauty in people, nature and music, and in her life’s search for true meaning in everything she did. May we, who she left behind, honor her memory by striving to be our best in our own life journeys.

Suzanne leaves many behind, but will surely continue to shine her light on us all, including J.R. Battipaglia of Astoria, NY and Great Barrington, MA, her true love and companion; her mother, Bernadette Reynolds of Southampton, NJ; her father, William F. Reynolds and his wife, Elaine, of Villanova, PA; siblings, Jennifer Reynolds Valerio and her husband, Stephen, of Pleasanton, CA, Lauren Reynolds Crespy and her husband, Anthony, of Burlington, NJ, Joy Reynolds of Philadelphia, PA and John Reynolds of Villanova, PA; nieces and nephew, Celeste Valerio, Nicholas Valerio and Marissa Crespy; and many other members of her given and chosen, family, especially the entire Pidcock family – Aunt Ginnie and Uncle George Pidcock of Waterford Works, NJ; cousins, Alicia Pidcock Stokes (Chris) of Cape May Court House, NJ, Bryan Pidcock (Heidi) and Jason Pidcock (Kristin) and their children, all of St. Augustine Beach, FL; and special friends, in numbers too great to list, but especially Elizabeth V. Morris of Burlington, NJ and Lauretta Morris and Claire Schenk of Mount Gretna, PA.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Blanche Mudrick Doolin and Jack Doolin, and paternal grandparents, Evelyn Maiter Reynolds and William H. Reynolds.

Beautiful spirit,

her soul spread light, warmth and grace,

on earth and ever after.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life Monday August 12, 2013 from 9 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home 478 Cooper St. Beverly, NJ 08010 where the service will be at 10.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Suzanne’s memory are encouraged to give of themselves to the cause or charity of their choice.
