William Harold Engelsen

William Harold Engelsen died Friday, March 2, 2018 at his home in Burlington Township with his wife by his side. He was 61.

Will is survived by his devoted wife Kathleen Engelsen (nee Rogers). He was a loving father to Ayden Luciano and Lena Rivera. Will also leaves his dear mother Hisako Engelsen and siblings Bernard, David and Donna Engelsen. He will be sadly missed by his life-long friends Mark(Rocky) and Dawn Yacono and family and by his caring mother-in-law, Charlotte Rogers.

Will was predeceased by his father Birger Engelsen.

Will was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Viet Nam era, aiding in the evacuation of Saigon.

He was a carpenter and electrician by trade but most enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. Will found great joy in coaching Ayden and his friends in the Pemberton Township Soccer Club. He tolerated his sister-in-law’s Eagles sweatshirts in spite of being a devoted Giants fan.

A viewing for family and friends will be held beginning at 10 AM, Wednesday, March 7th at Sweeney Funeral Home, 478 Cooper Street, Beverly NJ, with services beginning at noon. Interment will be after the services in the Veterans Garden of Honor at Monument Cemetery, Beverly NJ.
