Kathleen Edge

Kathleen Edge

Kathleen was born and bred in Riverside and was a graduate of Riverside High. She was strong in her faith; she said the rosary daily and her prayer book shows the signs of constant use. She could finish a book in a day, usually a romance novel, and she was a good cook; her specialty may have been Friday’s Peppers and eggs. Kathleen got to enjoy many a cruise and she loved a good masquerade party.
She met a handsome guy at a local dance. She and the late Raymond were blessed with a daughter, Christine Elstone; and grandchildren Jessica and Jeffrey. She is survived by her sister, Betty (Earl) Carty.
Come celebrate 96 great years Thursday 9-10 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, Holy Name Church, Delran.
