William Bernd Jr.

05/26/58-11/28/22

On November 28″, William Bernd of Riverside, NJ passed away suddenly at home in Bensalem, PA. He is reunited with his parents William Sr. and Dorothy (Dot) Bernd, his brothers Charles (Chuck) and Ronald (Wes).

Bill was born in Germany and from there his story began and what a ride it would be. Through all his endeavors he persevered. He was a man of many talents, some including fixing vehicles, roofing, and building homes. If there was a time that someone needed something to be done, Bill was there to complete the task. He had a heart of gold and would lend a hand to those in need. When his family or friends needed anything to be done, they knew they could depend on him.

He enjoyed great conversations and was a good listener. You could always count on Bill to give a good laugh with his funny jokes. He was truly one of a kind, loyalty meant everything to him. Some of the things he enjoyed were the great outdoors, cooking, listening to classic rock while having a bonfire. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with those he loved. He felt the most free while taking long rides with his friends or alone on his Harleys. Quality time with his grandchildren was very important to him. His favorite game to play with them was hide and seek and they could play for hours. Bill never missed watching wrestling on tv even if it meant watching it on his phone.

Bill is survived by his daughter Heather Lee Massa (Michael); grandchildren Sophie, Willow, and Wesley; his nieces Julia Bernd and Jillian Bernd (Mike); his aunts Charlotte Tomasczewski, Mary Lou Simes and Shirley DeSanto; his uncles Steve DeSanto (Peggy) Donnie DeSanto (Karen), many cousins and friends.

Bill meant so much to many and he will be truly missed.
