Florance M Walls

It was once noted that a woman should be two things: classy and fabulous. Florence was both. She always dressed her best and her home was impeccably clean. Always known for her reliability, she was fast to help others. Her Buick often doubled as a bus when she was taking her friends to their doctor appointments. And although she loved her job with McMillan in Riverside, she thought nothing of leaving it when her mother took ill. Always ready to fill her home with guests, come the holiday season she hosted dinner not once, but twice, at both Thanksgiving and Christmas. When it came to music, Dean Martin should have been the head of the Rat Pack and Elvis was always King. The only thing Florence loved more was Scotties, her home was not complete without one.rnFlorence is the wife of the late Thomas O. Walls, who passed away in 1978. She is survived by her children: Diana Gibson of Delanco and Thomas Walls (Sharon) of Riverside, her grandson Thomas, Jr. of North Carolina, her 3 great-grandchildren: Ariana, Ashley and Thomas Walls, III, her step-great-grandson Donovan Saltzman of Riverside, her brother Carl Smith (Donna) of Arizona and her dearest friend and loving companion Pierre Aubert of Riverside.rnCome celebrate Florence’s 85 wonderful years Thursday from 10 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where the service will be at 11 AM.
