If the sun was out, you know where he’d be. Scott and his gang would be headed to the beach. Scott loved the beach and he spent hours in the water on a boogie board and he cooked a mean burger. His sneakers were pristine as was the rest of his clothing; and he was organized to a fault. The unofficial mayor of Riverside: you’ll never find a person that didn’t like him. But he was really meant to be a dad: he took his Isabella out on many a date, was vice president of her ice tea stand and taught her the finer points of fishing. Earlier years found him working for PSEG.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Margaret McGovern; his daughter, Isabella; his siblings, Joseph, Marie (Kevin) Braendle, Kristin (Reed) McGovern; his nephew and godson, Joey McGovern, niece, Kaylee Braendle and many friends.
