Stella Zawada, age 83 of Delanco, passed away on Monday October 11, 2010 at Marcella Center in Burlington. Mrs. Zawada was born in Riverside and had resided with her niece Loretta Phillips and her husband Bryan in Delanco for the last 15 years.rnrnFor Stasie silence was golden, Never one to open her mouth with a complaint, her time was better spent doing crossword puzzles and watching Wheel of Fortune. The only time she would raise her voice was to triumphantly yell Bingo. Her knack for winning the game eventually earned her the nickname “Bingo-Queen” while living the last few months at Marcella Center in Burlington.rnrnStella was the wife of the late John Zawada and is survived by her daughter Theresa Park and granddaughter Beth Ann Park. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews.rnrnCome celebrate Stella’s 83 wonderful years(June 21, 1927-October 11, 2010) Friday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside.
