Some said he was enthusiastic, others, loud and boisterous. Either way, you knew when he was around. He leaned to the right, and supported many a republican candidate. His adventurous side shown through his career as a long distance truck driver, and the vacations he planned with his family. He loved the shore, Disney, and Great Adventure. He’d be on the rides right next to his kids. He loved to eat and loved to cook, especially pasta dishes. Like the Greaseman, he’d often ask, “Who’s your daddy,” and if agitated you’d get a Gleasonesque “Pow, right in the kisser.”rnHe is survived by his children, Christina, Harvard, Misty, Johnny, Brandon, and Jack; and his siblings, Ed, Bill, Jack, Tom, and Carol Simms. Come celebrate 54 enthusiastic years from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Church, Delran, where a service will be at 11:00 a.m. A brief reception will follow.rnrnrnrn
