Lillian Foster

She was quiet and unassuming: Lillian hated making waves. For her family always came first. Lillian’s house was your house: her door was always open to her family and she welcomed them home any time they needed. Her cooking was plain and simple, but no one made a pot roast as good as hers. She kept her mind sharp late into her years by reading (mostly Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele) and doing crossword puzzles. She liked the occasional soap and could be found tapping her feet to the sounds of Lawrence Welk. Her family never had trouble keeping warm: there was a never ending supply of Afghans. She was a huge Philly sports fan, especially the Phils and Eagles, but like many of us, too nervous to watch the end of the games. Earlier years found her working at RCA in Moorestown.rnShe was the wife of the late Jack and the mother of Jack Jr. of Fl, Robert (Lorenda) of Bordentown and Judith Palombi of Fairview, grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 9.
