She graduated from Woodbury High and went on to Drexel University where she studied Textile Engineering. Wanting to stay close to home, Carole settled into teaching Home Economics at Paulsboro High. Students benefited from her creativity and learned ways to care for their future homes. While at Drexel Carole, a member of the Varsity Singers, toured Europe.
