Betty never came to visit without food in hand and children never left her home without a treat. Her specialties were cucumber salad and boiled cookies. In the summer when her tomatoes came into abundance she became a distribution center. She loved to entertain: Halloween parties, backyard barbecues, and she donned a clown costume to bring smiles to area nursing homes. Betty the Builder could fix anything: she built a deck, changed a garage into a den and stone-faced her fireplace.rn Betty lived for the past 20 years in Swedesboro, NJ. She worked as a manager for Wawa Food Markets and was a five year member of the Presidents Club for Wawa. She was a past president of the Life Underwriter’s Assoc. In her early years she was an activities director for Martin’s Run Nursing Home.rn She is survived by her two children, Kimberly (Christopher) Galanaugh and Steven (Tracey) Talley, and the 6 grandkids she spoiled: Christopher, Ryan, Steven, Makenna, Matthew, and Kyle. Also survived by sisters, Beverly Delahunty, Barbara Perfetti and Bonnie Forbes; and her niece, Debra Brightbill.
