Donna Marie Martin

If you saw Donna Marie there was one thing for sure: she’d be smiling. About the only time she wasn’t was when she was in basic training with the Air Force. She was just plain homesick. But she stuck it out and got that smile back. She enlisted after graduating from Padua Academy. After she gave 3 years she settled into a defense job at Langley A F Base in Norfolk, VA. While there, her sister, Loraine, introduced her to a Navy man, Ray. They married and he worked out a transfer back to the Philly area. The move took care of her being homesick for good. They settled in the Beckett section of Logan Twp. You may have met her at Eckerd Drug store where she worked as a Pharmacy Technician. Donna Marie was always singing so it was natural for her to join the choir at St. Mary’s Chapel. rnDonna Marie is survived by husband, Ray, mother, Miriam Williamson, daughter, Amber Dodelin, 4 grandchildren , 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
