Grace M. Giacobbe

She was non-judgmental and accepting of everyone; around kids Grace would light up. Grace was born in Philadelphia. Her faith was strong; she was a lifetime member of St. Peter’s Church. And she was a wiz in the kitchen: the greatest gravy on earth. Retirement found her doing a little travelling in the U.S. and abroad. Grace was a lifelong Phillies fan but she was sure to check out a ballgame in every city she visited. Earlier years found her working a Macmillan publishing and later as a clerk for the Post Office for 22 years.
Her career at the post office earned her more than just a paycheck. It’s there she’d meet a guy named Tom Drumm. They’d share 34 years together. She is survived by their children: Sandra (Chino) Drumm, Thomas Jr (Deanna), Sherry (Larry) Foster; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and cousin Janet Boukhediche of Absecon. She was the daughter of the late Charles and late Minnie Giacobbe, and sister of the late Frances Giacobbe.

Come celebrate Grace’s life Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 9-10 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. at Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Peter’s Church, Riverside. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside.
