He had a lifelong love of the New York Giants and classic cars. George was a fixture around Beverly and was a founding member of the Beverly Athletic Club. He worked for many years in construction. But he found his real calling as a grandfather: Pop Pop and Big Pop Pop to his grands and great-grands. And if he left the area he’d most likely be heading off to Willamsburg: Busch Gardens and the outlets. He had a sweet tooth; any kind of chocolate and ice cream hit the spot. But he kept it in balance with an active garden full of vegetables and flowers.
As a young man, the handsome Riverside native would offer a ride home to a pretty Beverly girl, Mary Ann Komerosky. They’d share a 61 year marriage blessed by a son, Walter (Marilyn) and later by grandchildren, Giacomo (Robin), Angelo (Lyndsay), Christina (Sean) and Justin and later by great grandchildren, Giacomino, Fabiana, Lula, Harper, David and Valentina. He is survived by his great nephew, Xavier Moury and many nieces and nephews.
Family will celebrate 83 great years in a service after the crisis.
