Jaime-Lyn Hans

Jaime-Lyn Hans

She was a good hearted person who’s finest moments were found in helping others. She was not one for drama: Jaime-Lyn would have none of that. She had little tolerance for gossip as well. She kept friends for a lifetime; especially her best friend, her sister Nikki. They enjoyed many shopping trips, lunch dates, and countless hours chatting.

But her favorite times were probably all about her son Chris, heading out to the movies and bragging about his accomplishments; Jaime-Lyn and the late Taryl King were proud parents.

She wasn’t much of a cook but she ordered out with the best of them and she liked a little reality T.V.: Housewives and Kardashians. She recently started fishing at the old Olympian Lakes or wherever she could throw a hook in.

In her younger years she loved Hershey Park and Busch Gardens and her trips to Florida to visit her grandmother and free time often found her off to LBI to unwind with her friends.

She is survived by her son, Christopher King; parents, Lou and Deb Hans; siblings, Scott (Nicole) Hans, and Nikki (Rich) Schoeffling; her grandmother, Flora “Bubbie” Hans; aunts and uncles, Brian (Ellen), Honey (Paul), Gene, Mike (Fay), and Laura; nieces and nephews, Grace, Ryan, Erin, Cole, Alex, Eric, and Jacob. She was predeceased by her grandparents: Mark Hans and Selma (Eugene) and uncles and aunt: Jeff, Ricky, John, Bruce, and Robin.

Come celebrate 43 years Tuesday June 1, 2021 from 6-8p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Salvation Army (salvationarmy.org) or ocrahope.org
