Ethel “Effie” May Kiper

 Beloved Wife of Maurice Kiper Jr., devoted mother of Maurice Kiper III and late Jason Kiper has passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. A sister to Sue Johnson, Linda Lipinsky (Walter), Alice Kiper (late Nick), Mary Kiper (Rick), Mark Shively (Susan), and Jeffery Shively (Lisa), a Grandmother to Maurice Kiper IV and Jocelyn Kiper. Effie was also a Great Grandmother, an Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. The love Effie had for her family was immeasurable.

 Effie was born on June 21, 1958 and was a longtime resident of Delran. She also lived in Moorestown and spent the last few years of her life as a resident of Riverside. You could always find Effie at any local department store; Kmart was her go to, but when that closed up she moved to Walmart. She was also an avid thrift shopper and yardsaler; she always loved a good bargain.

Effie loved to dance, especially the two-step to country music. You could always count on her to come to any family event bearing her famous deviled eggs. Effie was always someone you could talk to, even if it was about nothing. She could lighten any situation by cracking a joke and making everyone laugh.

No matter how long this passage is, there is no way to sum up what an amazing, beautiful, and brave person that Effie was. Her memory will remain forever in our hearts.
