R. Lucille Hoffman was born April 28, 1924, in Riverside to Elmer and Julia Hoffman.
She passed away on September 27 at Care-One in Moorestown.
A proud Riverside High School Graduate of the class of 1941. She attended Strayer’s Business College and started her career as an administrative assistant. During WWII, she worked in the office of the Penn Jersey shipyard in Camden, NJ then for PSE&G. Following that she was a secretary to several lawyers at Camden Forge. In 1950, she was employed in the legal department of RCA Camden. In 1964, she was appointed Corporate Assistant Secretary, a job she held until her retirement in 1986 from RCA Moorestown. In her retirement, she traveled to the Far East, Europe, and the Bahamas. She was a lifetime member of Resurrection Parish worshipping at the St. Casmir’s Church. She is survived by her cousin Lawrence Delhagen, her cousin and godchild Kathleen Delhagen, and godchild Thomas Rowe. She will be dearly missed by her lifetime friend, Charlotte Norwicke. Her other faithful friends include Jean Morales, Mary Murphy, Charles and Pat John, Eileen Rider, and Michael Pustie.
Come celebrate 98 years on Monday October 3rd, from 8:30am – 9:30am at Sweeney Funeral Home, 478 Cooper Street, Beverly NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 am at Resurrection Parish. (St Casimir site), Riverside NJ. Interment New Calvary Church, 490 Washington Rd, Parlin NJ 08872.
