Joseph was a man known for his handy skills and helpful nature, he lived a life full of laughter and integrity. Whether he was standing up for what was right or cracking jokes, Joseph’s presence was always felt. He had a unique nickname for everyone, always having a playful and personal approach to friendships. Joseph’s love for TV shows like Family Guy and American Dad reflected his light-hearted spirit, while his passion for fishing and crabbing showed his connection to the outdoors. He even made the Burlington County Times for the “Drug-Free NJ Campaign” in Browns Mills, NJ, a proud moment for him and his community. Though not much of a cook, Joseph never shied away from a good meal. He played football in his younger years and graduated virtually in 2020 during the pandemic, a milestone in a challenging time. Joseph had a knack for taking things apart and putting them back together, especially electronics, always curious and inventive.
Joseph is survived by his mother Sandra, his father William (Danielle); siblings: Jordan his son Jordan Jr., Justice (Haley) and baby on the way, Billy, and Wyatt; aunt Lisa Ramirez; cousins: Olivia, and David; uncle Chuck (Wendy) Johnston; cousin Camo; grandparents: Pearl Hoff, Sandra Johnston, and Charles (Doris) Johnston; Charlene Volkman; and his extended family and numerous friends.
Come celebrate 22 years on Wednesday August 28th from 6-8pm and on Thursday August 29th, from 10-11am at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside NJ 08075, where there will be an 11am service. Interment Coopertown Meeting House Cemetery, Edgewater Park NJ.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sweeney Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses for Joseph.
