Timothy Richard Eliason

If there’s one thing Timmy was known for, it was his larger-than-life personality. Walk into any room he was in, and you didn’t need to wonder where he was—you could hear him. That infectious belly laugh had the power to make everyone else laugh. Tim was the life of the party, and not just because of his humor, but because of the warmth and joy he brought with him everywhere.

When he wasn’t showing off his kicks, you could find him out on the water, loving life aboard his boat, or cruising around in his bouji cars, which were as flashy as his personality. But behind the big laughs and boujee cars was a man with an incredible work ethic. He took pride in being a hard worker, a man who did what needed to be done, whether on the job or in service to his country. He wore his Navy service like a badge of honor, and his commitment to his family, his work, and his country was unwavering. But behind the flash and fun was a man who worked hard.

Tim lived for the Eagles, and tailgating was his game-day ritual. You’d find him at the crack of dawn, grill fired up, cooking all day long—his prime rib, the stuff of legends. Tim knew how to feed a crowd and make sure they were laughing while doing it. The Flyers were another love of his, and he and his brother Billy held season tickets, turning each game into a shared experience.

Timmy’s TV preferences showed his taste for the classics. He could quote The Sopranos better than anyone, and Tony Soprano had nothing on Tim when it came to loyalty and family. And if his radio was on you’d hear Pearl Jam playing, the soundtrack to so many of his life’s moments.

Family vacations to the Outer Banks were a cherished tradition, a time when Tim could kick back and relax with the people who mattered most. The memories made there filled with laughter, beachside barbecues, and pure joy.

But perhaps the greatest chapter in Tim’s story began in 2015 when he met Candice at Braddock’s. What started as an interview turned into a love story for the ages. Their connection was instant, their chemistry undeniable, and together they built a life full of adventure, laughter, and love.

Tim and Nash loved going to the movies together, enjoyed fishing and going to the carnivals. He loved watching and playing hockey and seriously giving the kid anything he wanted.

Tim is survived by his wife Candice, his son Nash, brother William (Cheryl) Eliason; niece: Devon; nephew: Nicholas; sister in laws: Shannon Ashe, Melissa Ashe, and Danielle (Kevin) Hagan. He was predeceased by his son Graham William Ashe Eliason and his mother Mary Eliason.

Come celebrate 48 great years  Thursday October 17, 2024 8:30am-11:30am at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, where there will be an 11:30 am service.
