Elizabeth “Libby” Todd
Libby was a sweetheart with a stubborn streak. She was able to light up any room with her sharp sense of humor and quick wit. Libby was a woman of many passions, but none more powerful than her love for books. True crime, fantasy, fiction, music biographies—you name it, she devoured it. Her love for literature was rivaled only by her love for music. A dedicated Grateful Dead fan, she could often be found humming classic rock tunes, with WXPN playing in the background as she went about her day. The beach was her happy place, she was particularly fond of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, especially Kill Devil Hills. She made annual trips to the area, taking in the salty air, sinking her toes into the sand, and watching the waves roll in. The ocean’s tranquility matched her soul, and no matter how hectic life got, a trip to the beach always brought her peace.
Though Libby was a wonderful cook, she’d be the first to admit she didn’t love it. But when she did cook, it was unforgettable. Libby cherished her grandkids, Alyssa and Nick, more than anything in the world. They recently shared a special movie outing to see Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, a memory they will treasure forever. Alyssa could always count on her for a fun shopping day, where they’d explore and laugh. Alyssa and her always looked forward to going to the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market each year. New Hope, Pennsylvania, was one of Libby’s favorite spots to visit. She loved wandering the quirky little stores, finding hidden gems that no one else would even think to look for. Her eye for the unique made her a master of finding the perfect, quirky gift.
Libby is survived by her life partner David “Peach” O’Connor, her son David (Lisa) Horoff, and her grandchildren Alyssa and Nick. She is predeceased by her brother Michael Todd and her parents Roger and Betty Todd.

RIP Libby. I am thankful to be a co-worker of yours at Benefit Consultants Group. You kept the mood in the office lively, especially after the pandemic, and I will miss that energy.
