Clement Yoka

Clem knew that the first rule to intelligent tinkering is to keep all the parts. If there was a piece of electronics, he always found a way to take it apart and put it back together again. If a friend had a broken radio or camera, Clement could always find a way to fix it. His technical skills were surely an attribute while serving the army during both WWII and Korea. As a tail gunner during WWII he broke the then current record of completing 50 missions inside of 81 days. After the wars he found a new home for his skills, working for RCA in Hightstown. During retirement, he could often be found lending a hand at Loringer’s BP in Delanco. But he always made time to spend his Saturdays at the Berlin Mart, tracking down new electronics to dismantle and rebuild.rn Clement is survived by his dear friend Patsy Thomas of Burlington, and many nieces and nephews. rn Come celebrate Clement’s 88 years (Dec. 2, 1922-Feb. 18, 2011) Monday from 10 AM at the Masonic Home Chapel, Burlington, where the Masonic Service will be at 10:30 AM and the funeral service will follow. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Masonic Hospice Services 902 Jacksonville RD., Burlington, NJ 08016.
