Anthony Gonteski Sr.

Anthony Gonteski Sr.

Tony worked at Mid Atlantic Packaging for 40 years before his retirement. He loved the sounds of country music and if his T.V was on he’d be checking out Bones and CSI. He did a little gambling on the slots and harness racing. Tony never missed an Eagles game and would check out the Phillies on occasion. He lived in Beverly for 15 years having previously lived in Edgewater Park and Willingboro.

His work earned him more than a paycheck: it’s there he’d meet his first wife, the late Laverne. They’d share a 22-year marriage blessed by two sons, Vincent (Julie) and Anthony “Tony” Jr. He’d later share a 20-year marriage with his second wife, the late Carolyn. He is survived by 7 grandchildren and siblings, Maryann Gonteski, Johnny (Florence) Gonteski, Stanley Gonteski, Eddie Gonteski and Richard Gonteski.

Family will celebrate his 84 great years at an upcoming memorial service.
