Thomas R. Stoltz

Thomas R. Stoltz

Tom was a devoted family man, not only to his beloved wife Marianne of over 40 years, but also to his children, grandchildren, brothers, sister, and large extended family. He placed his loved ones at the center of his life, finding his greatest joy in their company. A passionate sports enthusiast, he rarely missed an Eagles or Phillies game—or a college basketball matchup—and loved sharing that passion with those around him.

Known for his vibrant spirit, Tom could often be found on the dance floor at any gathering, bringing joy and energy as the heart of every celebration. He enjoyed spending time outdoors—whether golfing, fishing, or hunting with the boys—and treasured his travels, especially his trips to Jamaica & Cove Haven. He also appreciated life’s simple pleasures, often relaxing with his favorite drink of choice. If you weren’t receiving one of his famously warm hugs, you were likely on the receiving end of a playful “DOLEEE”—his signature show of affection.

He is survived by his wife Marianne his loving children: Buffy, Eric (Melissa), Casey (Lindsey), and Caribeth (Rob); his cherished grandchildren: Chelsea, Jeremy, Kaylee (Kyle), Marissa, and Dillon; and his great-grandson Jaxon. He also leaves behind his siblings Gary, Scott, Kim (Dwight), and brother-in-law Buddy and Mike (Jackee) as well as many other family members and friends who will carry his memory with love and laughter.

Please join us in honoring his 80 years of life on Friday April 11th at the Zion Lutheran Church in Riverside, NJ . Visitation 9:00-10:30am with service to follow immediately after. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church of Manchester 2309 NJ-70 East, Manchester Nj 08759

I’m just like Tom. I didn’t know him well but I knew him. I’m just like Tom, like the Eagles and the Phillies. And he loves college basketball and my team Villanova I been following them for 65 years because my brother went to Villanova. My wife and me know Marianne and I knew Casey. One of the best in baseball. Tell Tom to rest in peace.
