Constance “Connie” Anna Kirchner
Constance “Connie” Anna Kirchner
Her earlier years found her working for Bell Telephone, but Connie found her real calling as a mom. Later in life she became an expert in medical billing both for Zurbrugg Hospital in Riverside and a private billing service, after the hospital closed. She loved to do a little shopping at Boscov’s and head out for lunch at Firebirds, Dooney’s and Turning Point. She always had a dog by her side and was a fan of the Phillies. If her T.V. was on she’d be checking out some Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Hallmark movies. She was born and raised in Riverside and resided in Delran.
Connie was lucky enough to be in the 1959 graduating class of Riverside High School with a handsome boy named Frank. They started dating their senior year and were married while he was still in the service. They’d share a 63-year union blessed by a son, Bill (Mary Ann). She is survived by her brother, Bill (“Sis”) Richardson and many nieces and nephews.
Come celebrate 84 great years Tuesday March 31, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, April 1, from 9–10:15 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, St. Casimir Church, 502 New Jersey Ave, Riverside. Interment: will be private at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside. In lieu of flowers, donations to Resurrection Parish, 260 Conrow Road, Delran 08075 will be appreciated.
