Nadine Lynn Urian Howard

Nadine Lynn Urian Howard, born March 29, 1960, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of strength, selfless love, and unwavering care for others.

She was, above all, a woman who put family at the center of her world. Her grandchildren, Elliana and Juliana, were her greatest joy—the light in her eyes and the reason behind her warmest smiles. She loved them more than anything, and her time with them was filled with laughter, gentle guidance, and unconditional love that will continue to shape their lives for years to come.

Throughout her life, she was known for caring deeply for those around her. Whether it was family, friends, or even strangers, she gave freely of herself without ever asking for anything in return. She had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and understood. Yet, despite giving so much, she never wanted to be the one cared for—her strength lived in her independence and her quiet resilience.

Nadine was also a woman of remarkable bravery. She faced life’s challenges with determination and persistence, never giving up, always trying her hardest, and doing her very best no matter the circumstances. Her courage and refusal to quit were an inspiration to all who knew her, a testament to the strength she carried within.

She found peace and happiness in simple, beautiful moments. The beach was her sanctuary, where the warmth of the sun and the rhythm of the waves brought her comfort. She loved walking along the shore searching for shells, and some of her most cherished memories were made on crabbing trips.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, her bravery, and the deep love she carried for her family. Though she may be gone, the memories she created and the love she gave so freely will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.She is deeply missed and forever cherished.

Nadine is survived by her daughter: Marissa (Michael) Bush, her siblings: William (Tonya), Jay (Ebi), Mina, Steve (Anita), and Dean (Holly); her grand-daughers: Eilliana and Juliana; and her significant other Joseph Christiano;  along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
