Martha A McCloskey

Martha A McCloskey

Martha was truly the glue that held her family together. She was the kind of person who could turn strangers into friends within minutes, welcoming everyone with her larger-than-life personality, endless stories, and unforgettable laugh. She had a sassy sense of humor and a voice that could fill any room. Martha loved life’s simple joys and never passed up a chance to have a little fun. Whether it was buying scratch-offs and hoping to hit it big, sitting at the slots, playing bingo, or taking trips to Atlantic City as a proud Platinum card holder, she always enjoyed the thrill of trying her luck. Living close to the park, Martha became known for keeping an eye on everything happening outside her window. If something was going on, chances were she already knew about it. She also had a well-known love for Boost, never without one in her hand. She especially loved spending time with her family on vacations to Wildwood, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Martha is survived by her children: Allen Charles (Brenda), Dottie, Robert (Sherry), Kevin (Chelsy), and Karen (Gary); grandchildren: Shane, Randy, Robert Jr, Kari-Anne, Hailie, Alaina, Joey, and Aubrie; great-grandchildren: Waverly, Aurora, Callum, and Zion. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
