Anyone fortunate enough to know Kim knew they had someone truly special in their life. She was a genuine ray of sunshine whose warmth, kindness, and calming spirit touched everyone around her. She was down-to-earth and effortlessly approachable, someone who could make a friend no matter where in the world she happened to be. Kim had a quiet aura about her, the kind that made people feel seen, cared for, and completely at ease. She met people exactly where they were in life, never asking anyone to be anything other than themselves.
Kim was a woman of both determination and balance. She carried two beautiful sides of herself: her accomplished professional side and her deeply spiritual yogi side. While working full-time during the day, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Drexel University at night. She never sweated the small stuff and always found a way to get things done. Independent to her core, Kim was still proudly driving her stick-shift car up until just a couple of weeks ago, a perfect reflection of her strength.
Her passion for personal growth and helping others led her to South Africa, where she studied Kundalini Yoga and embraced a path centered around mindfulness, healing, and connection. Kim loved to travel and was a true explorer at heart, visiting places including Egypt, Isreal, Europe, and throughout the Western and Southwestern United States. She also had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved cats.
Kim met the love of her life in 2000 after answering a personal ad in The Philadelphia Inquirer from a man named Vince. They agreed to meet at a Starbucks, and from that moment on, the rest was history. Together they shared 26 years filled with love, adventure, and companionship, even listening to their wedding song together during her final days.
Kim is predeceased by her father Albert Cirvelli. She is survived by her mother Margaret, her brother Albert and her love Vince, along with her aunts, uncle, nephew, cousins, and many, many friends.
