Adams’ gruff exterior hid a soft side that when you got the chance to see was an honor to be part of the group he opened his heart to. If he was quick to tease or give a good ribbing to those around him, that was just his way of showing affection. And if you turned it back on him it was all the better; he could take a joke just as well as he could dish one out. His adventurous side showed through his love of roller coasters, and he was even known to go bungee jumping.
